Playing-card combinations

In cartomancy, one card is not enough: transition matters, red to black, black to red, repeated suit, repeated rank, court card near number.

Red → black

Desire or exchange meets work, boundary, or check. Often not refusal, but need for form.

  • hearts + spades: feeling needs pause
  • diamonds + clubs: money needs work

Black → red

After work or boundary, warmth, message, payment, or exchange can appear.

  • clubs + diamonds: work brings exchange
  • spades + hearts: pause protects feeling

Repeated suit

Repeated suit is stronger than a single card: it is the reading weather.

  • many hearts: emotional scene
  • many spades: boundary required
