OmenHall PWA

OmenHall on your home screen

This is not an App Store app and not Capacitor. It is a safe mobile-first PWA: icon, fast launch, standalone mode, and offline fallback for public halls without caching private pages.

01

Open the site on your phone

Start from the OmenHall homepage, My Day, or the hall map.

02

Add it to your home screen

Android usually shows an install button. On iPhone, tap Share and choose Add to Home Screen.

03

Launch it like an app

The OmenHall icon opens the site in standalone mode with quick access to daily signs and halls.

PWA safety

Public feels faster, private is not stored

Account pages, private readings, and access links are not stored in the PWA cache.

Stripe, Supabase Auth, Resend/API, and webhook routes remain online-only.

If the network drops, OmenHall shows a safe offline screen instead of an old private page.

Post-install check

How to know the PWA is working correctly

Android Chrome offers installation or lets you add OmenHall from the browser menu.

iPhone Safari opens OmenHall from the icon in standalone mode after Share → Add to Home Screen.

Public halls show the standard offline screen when the network drops, while private pages show the private offline screen.

After a new deploy, a gentle PWA update notice appears instead of a sudden reload during payment or a reading.

PWA service reset

If your phone shows an old OmenHall version after an update, you can clear only the public PWA cache. This does not remove account login or private data.
