significators

Kipper significators

A short spread does not always need a significator. In nine-room and tableau 36 it becomes an anchor so the reading does not sprawl.

01

Client significator

In a large spread, first decide what we are looking for: client, partner, paper, work, home, risk, or waiting. Without this, Kipper sprawls.

  • Main Male/Female is not always partner.
  • Significator is chosen before drawing.
  • After the spread it does not change for answer convenience.

02

Theme significator

For papers use Message or Courthouse, for work Occupation or Official Person, for home House or Family Room.

  • Document theme: 7/23/30.
  • Work theme: 22/34/25.
  • Home theme: 20/21/6/18.

03

Distance to significator

Nearby cards describe available and near matters. Distant cards describe background, long perspective, or what the client cannot yet control.

  • Near = visible and checkable.
  • Far = background or long path.
  • Corners = stable frames of the period.
