How to read this scene
Name the story
Separately write what you think the avoidance means. That is interpretation, not fact.
Leave the unknown
If the reason is not clear yet, that is a valid outcome. Do not turn a gap into diagnosis.
Small practice
Write one direct first-person question and beside it note what you actually know and what remains unknown.
A deeper format only fits if the user wants to continue after this clarification; avoidance itself must not be used to sell fear.
