Family system

Family Integration

The couple remains its own Synastry V2 edge while children add independent parent-child, stepparent-child, and sibling/stepsibling relationships. There is no whole-family percentage and no label that a child is an obstacle.

The couple stays a couple. The family becomes a network.

OmenHall first calculates A↔B as ordinary Synastry V2. It then adds separate parent-child, stepparent-child, and sibling/stepsibling edges. Children do not raise or lower the adults' compatibility; they add distinct relationships that can be examined.

Why a network, not one score

Adult compatibility is not recalculated because children are present. Family Integration places several distinct relationships side by side: A↔B, each adult↔each child, and child↔child edges. It can reveal where the family system may need more adaptation without assigning blame.

What is astrological here

Every edge is an independent Modern Western Synastry V2 calculation with its own authority fingerprint, dedicated orbs, and uncertainty. The family graph itself is an OmenHall-authored orchestration layer, not an ancient standalone technique.

What comes from family-systems framing

Family-systems research motivates treating a blended family as a network of interrelated dyads. That research does not validate astrology and is not used to derive psychological diagnoses from charts.

Checklist

  • ✦ Then read parent/stepparent-child edges as distinct relationships, not as a child's effect on the couple score.
  • ✦ Compare symbolic geometry with actual behavior, boundaries, and conversation.

Boundaries

FAQ

Can a child 'ruin' a compatible couple?

OmenHall does not frame it that way. A↔B remains the same calculation. An adult↔child or child↔child edge may contain more friction or time-dependent geometry; that is a reason to examine that relationship, not blame the child.

Do children need exact birth times?

No. Planetary contacts can still work with approximate/unknown birth time through the existing uncertainty architecture. Houses and angles are shown only where they have authority.
