One Card or Three Cards

One card gives a sign. Three cards show movement: where you are, what blocks, what step is possible.

Helps avoid choosing a large spread for a small question.

One card

Fits mornings, short signs, mood checks, or questions needing focus rather than analysis.

  • Daily card.
  • One advice.
  • Short check.

Three cards

Three cards give a small story. They show not only a sign, but the link between cause, tension, and step.

  • Situation, obstacle, step.
  • Me, other, bond.
  • Past, present, direction.

Size rule

  1. 1If the question takes one line, start with one card.
  2. 2If there is conflict, take three cards.
  3. 3If there are several people and timeframes, use a deeper spread.
