People in Lenormand

People cards do not always describe character. Often they mark a role in the question: participant, ally, patron, competitor, official figure.

Man and Woman

These cards often show the querent, partner, or central figure. Their character is read through neighbors.

Dog and Bear

Dog is support and loyalty. Bear is power, authority, resource. Both may help, but both need boundaries.

Fox and Snake

These cards do not prove guilt. They say: check motive, path, agreement, hidden complexity.

Checklist

  • Define the card's role in the question.
  • Do not call a person guilty by one card.
  • Look at two neighboring cards.

Common mistakes

  • assigning character without context
  • using cards as proof of betrayal
